French designer Alexis Tricoire of Vegetal Atmosphere is one of the very few designers in the world who has mastered in the field of vegetal design. Vegetal design is a very complex discipline that combines artistic expression in architecture, technological innovation and botany. Tricoire is well known for his monumental compositions and unique structures for every individual project. He has a celebrated reputation for successfully organizing several indoor and outdoor shows for international clients like Fondation EDF, Macif and Château de Versailles, Unibail (Commercial Centers at Lyon, Praga and Viena) and Groupe Partouche (Casino la Grande Motte)
One of Tricoire’s most recent projects is called the ‘Green Mobile Project’, which is basically a series of suspended, sculptural, mobile gardens installed in a shopping mall in Prague. The gardens were created in collaboration with the 3form Varia whereby 40 % of the material was recyclable. The creation of the series of shapes of the gardens have been inspired from the shopping bag designs. As an additional feature, mini led lights were integrated into every garden adding relief to the vegetation.
