Keeping in mind the needs of the present times, France based Green Cat Technologies have come up with a multifaceted, self-sufficient camper trailer fueled by green technology. The sCarabane is a rotating camper built on a circular track that allows its structure to rotate 360 degrees following the direction of the sun, and utilizing solar energy to meet the requirements of the inhabitants.
The sCarabane comes equipped with solar cells, a telescopic wind turbine, and a solar concentrator to generate hot water. A parabolic mirror installed on the roof of the caravan tracks the direction of the sun, while a telescopic vertical-axis wind-turbine can generate up to 500 watts of clean power. In addition, solar cells supplement the generation of renewable energy, providing 500 watts.
The 26 feet long caravan opens up in to a 420 sq feet spacious space, including a a front deck and two rear bedrooms. The master bedroom measures around 77.5 sq feet and the second bedroom of 59 sq feet sits besides it. Both of these interior spaces can open up to the outdoors with a full size door. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary amenities to cook a proper meal and the dining area which can seat up to 6 people also serves as an extra sleeping space for guests. The bathroom includes a shower, sink, toilet and to add to the convenience, there is also a space for a company washing machine.
At the rear, an adjustable bubble window features a reflective shade to control natural light and heat, and rose windows on the bedroom ceilings let you change how much sunlight streams in from above.
