Water Lily is a resort design project conceptualized by Cristina Caldieri and Andrea Cigolini at Baumraum. The design is inspired by two elements of nature: Water & Earth. The location of Water Lily is a shallow lake with trees and bushes at the strand. The little building has two different characters. A visible part closed to the strand, overhanging the water surface – furnished with a day bed, a kitchen and lots of storage space. A small stairs leads into the second part of the building – invisible, below the lake, dedicated to the water and the silence. Here you can find a small sauna a place for relaxation.
