Funny Construction Christmas Cards this Holiday Season Post -

Christmas—the season for giving and receiving! Do you remember the times you felt so excited to see the gifts under your Christmas tree? Or do you remember getting excited for your Christmas cards arriving in the mail? Red, green, white and yellow envelopes with printed photos and short, but sweet greetings from people you haven’t seen in years. If you want to recreate such nostalgic scenery this Christmas season, why not send funny Christmas construction cards to your friends and loved ones?

Why Give Christmas Construction Cards?

Recently, there is a sort of movement or revolution to revive a lot of 90s nostalgia and in this case, why don’t we bring back the tradition of giving Christmas cards!

Statistics show that over 2 billion Christmas cards are sent every year on December in the USA alone. Another study, on the other hand, reveals that people, on average, spend 20 holiday cards during the Christmas season. New families are more likely to send out a couple or more photos to everyone. However, most of us actually receive fewer greeting and Christmas cards in our mailbox. Why?

One major factor that contributes to the decline of the popularity of greeting cards is social media. Nowadays, most of us write our yearend roundups on social media—Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. We write posts detailing our activities from the past year, a list of goals and achievements or mass email greetings with a couple of awkward photo attachments. This sounds very easy, but it’s also kind of boring and impersonal. Actual greeting cards like construction Christmas card are so much more meaningful.

Why Send Construction Christmas Cards This Year?

While it is definitely possible, and more convenient, to simply post an auto-generated Facebook video and tag your friends in it. Or you can write and email and send it out to the people on your mail list. While such methods are guaranteed to reach the people you care about, they are not exactly something that gives the impression of you giving much thought into it.

In this age where everything can be done with a single tap of a finger, it’s easy to send a generic greeting to anyone. But, it takes more than just a social media post to create a meaningful connection with the people who matter to you. Which is why sending a physical greeting card is better.

So below are some good reasons why you should still construction Christmas cards this year.

  1. THEY LAST LONGER

Sharing a status update may be easier and faster, but it’s also fleeting. It’ll get buried under the number of posts over the next few weeks. But, when you send a physical Christmas card to your loved one, they’ll be able to physically hold it, keep it, and look back on it whenever they want to.

Construction Christmas cards and greeting cards, in general, are usually displayed the day after Christmas, to remind you of your connection or relationship with the receiver. This is a lot better than just sending or tagging a friend or family member on a Facebook post that would be soon forgotten, right?

  • GIVES YOU A CHANCE TO BRAG

Here’s the thing about Christmas cards: they’re not only meant to remind us of how important the receiver is in your life, but it’s also more about you sharing news about your life to the receiver

A Christmas card gives you a chance to shine; to subtly brag or share about your amazing news of the year.

  • IT’S SO EASY

Most people we know avoid sending Christmas cards for several reasons. It could be that they are too lazy to send year-end updates, or simply have no time to make one. The truth is, sending construction Christmas cards doesn’t really take too much effort and can be done in a few hours. It is especially easy now that we have the internet and all—simply order a card online, include a personal message and have the company deliver it to the person you want to receive it. It’s so easy!

  • BETTER THAN A GENERIC ONLINE MESSAGE

let’s face it—we are all addicted to social media at some point, especially the younger generation. Social media provides us plenty of wonderful opportunities to connect to people we cannot be physically together with, like friends and family who live far away from us. However, the more time we spend on social media, the less time we actually spend reaching out to people who actually mean something to us. Christmas, however, provides us with the perfect opportunity to reach out and share something meaningful to the ones we love. And what better way to do it but with a well-thought construction Christmas card?

The best part about it is that you get to actually write what you feel and think about the receiver instead of just sending him or her a generic greeting from Facebook. The receiver would certainly appreciate not only your gesture but also the message in your letter.

  • GIVES YOU THE CHANCE TO SAY SOMETHING IMPORTANT

Here’s an idea: use your Christmas greeting card to share something important or meaningful to the person receiving it. December is a very festive season—it’s the time when families gather together for the holidays. But it can also be a notoriously dangerous and lonely month for some. Share a message of positivity, love and hope to friends and loved ones you know are spending the holidays alone. Everyone can use a little bit of cheering up this holiday and a personal message in the form of a construction Christmas card in their mailbox can mean a lot to someone. A friend who’s celebrating the Christmas holidays alone would surely appreciate it if you send him or her a card reminding him that he’s not alone and that someone out there cares for him after all. Do something good and spread the yuletide cheer!

  • YOU CAN SEND THEM LATER

A lot of people argue that greeting cards should be sent sooner instead of later. Although this does make sense, it’s not an excuse to avoid the opportunity at all. There’s no rule that says you have to send Christmas cards only on Christmas day itself. They are perfectly valid at any point in December. Want to send it earlier? Sure! Want to send it later? Why not? But if you miss the opportunity to send it on that month, you could always send it on New Year’s together with a New Year card. This would be like hitting two birds with one stone! Also, there are now plenty of ways to send cards online. It’s so easy!

You may think that all your Facebook friends know everything you did this year because you’ve been constantly updating your account. But the truth is, not everyone spends a lot of time scrolling up and down their news feed as most people do. You’d be surprised to find out that all your updates and carefully-worded posts don’t reach a lot of people.

The older generation, in particular, didn’t grow up with social media and don’t really care much about it. They would definitely appreciate it more if you sent them a card or letter instead of just another computer-generated greeting on Facebook. It might not occur to you but cards and letters from loved ones are among the things elderly relatives keep with them until they die.

Most of us focus on the benefits the receiver gets from getting cards and letters. But, the person who benefits the most from this exchange is probably the sender. Why? Because by going through our address book, we think about the people listed in it.

Let’s admit it. There’s a reason why certain people’s name are listen in our address books—they’re people who we want to keep in contact with. As you go through your address book and sign cards, take a few minutes to remember the people who played a part in your life, whether it’s minor or major. Recall memories of places or events that have made an impact on you. You might find yourself smiling, laughing or crying as you take a name out of the book.

Eventually even if the recipient doesn’t reciprocate, or throw your card and letter in the trash without even taking a look at it, the act of writing and sending greeting cards help make us more human.

So, this holiday season, instead of just tagging your friends and loved ones in a random Facebook video that would probably be forgotten over the next few weeks, why not give Christmas cards instead?  You can personalize these cards or get those pre-made ones with funny or meaningful messages. Construction Christmas cards, for example, are a great choice if you know someone who works in the construction industry. It would probably make that person’s day if you went out of your way to give them something that they can completely relate with.
