Founded in 2010 by architect duo Ceren Başgöze and Fatih Başgöze, laBoratuvar Studio has created some unique furniture designs are based on the principle of ‘Re-use’. The designers utilize old/ antique discarded furniture pieces and merge it with industrial objects giving pieces a new life with a modern perspective. laBoratuvar aims at contributing to sustainability in the design of furniture, encouraging the consumption of secondary raw materials to minimize the need for primary raw materials derived from natural sources. Their exploration of the sustainable aspects of furniture design has resulted in some extremely unique and creative up-cycled furniture and lighting designs.
