The ‘Solar Forest’ is a renewable energy design by Neville Mars, which offers an innovative approach to traditional parking areas, by allowing electric vehicles to recharge their batteries. The large leaf shaped solar panels follow the movement of the sun, absorbing a maximum amount of light, and providing energy to the trunk of each ‘Solar Tree’. Drivers simply roll up, find the perfect parking spot, and plug-in their electric vehicle. When they come back, their electric vehicle will be renewed with vitality, ready for its next destination. The solar panels also perform double duty as a shady canopy, protecting vehicles from the heat of the summer sun.
