‘MY POTHOLES‘ is an art project where those very annoying craters in our city streets become the inspiration for a playful sense of humour with a clever twist. Using props to magically turn the best (or worst) potholes into a variety of amusing scenarios, artists Claudia Ficca and Davide Luciano photograph their creations with the mission of turning these urban nuisances into something that encourages every city dweller to crack a smile. The two artists have travelled across North America with cameras and imagination in tow to photograph potholes of all shapes and sizes in Toronto, New York City, Los Angeles, and their home city of Montreal.
