Artists are always searching for new and interesting ways to display their talents. So when the opportunity to paint the exteriors of some WWII aircraft presented itself, the results were truly amazing. The Boneyard Project: Return Trip presented by Eric Firestone features larger than life artwork by Andrew Schoultz, Nunca, How & Nosm, Bast, Faile, and Retna on some very aerodynamic canvases. Also on display is a collection of nose cones and other aircraft accessories painted by artists like Shepard Fairey, Tara McPherson, and Tristan Eaton. The Boneyard Project: Return Trip will be on display at the Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson, Arizona until May 31, 2012.
