Lesley Merola Moya, a very creative textile designer and owner of hunt+gather is a textile/surface print design studio shares her creations which consists of an interesting fusion of her original ideas as well as designs from artists all over the world, which gives the collection a well rounded hand. The inspiration for the prints comes from a combination of current trends, nature, original drawings and paintings and a love of vintage fabrics.
After graduating with a fine arts degree and a BFA in textile and surface design from The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, Lesley worked for various companies in the home furnishings and fashion world in NY before relocating to New Mexico. Hunt+Gather also provides design services such as color separations, design revisions and technical repeats as well as custom designs, commissioned projects and collaborations. A few of of hunt+gather’s clients include Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Pacific Sunwear, and J Brand. The prints are mostly purchased by the fashion industry, although they can be used for home furnishings or any other area where a great print is needed!
