Istanbul-based designer Meb Rure transforms fabric waste into a vibrant furniture collection. Her ‘Recycled Silk Furniture’ collection consisting of a chair, ottoman and stool have been created using American White Oak and recycled silk yarns from Nepal. The colourful silk balls have been arranged in a mix and match format and they are filled with sponge inside to provide a comfortable sitting experience. For easy & economic transportation, the legs have been designed in a way that they can be easily assembled and dismantled without any tools. The ‘Recycled Silk Furniture’ collection is a must have for all the silk lovers who like it ‘green’, but with a royal touch.
