Wooden House in Czech Republic by A.LT Architects

This hexagon shaped wooden house is situated in Zbecno, Czech Republic surrounded by lush green forest land. Architects A.LT Architekti’s biggest challenge was to build a structure on sloping lands of Krivoklatsko. The house stands on wooden beams and characterized by its hexagon shape which was specifically chosen to increase the amount of sunlight as well as the all around views of the environment. An abundance of space exists on the entrance and terrace of the first floor while an outside enclosure was formed on the garage level. A living room with a kitchen and a laundry room with a toilet is on the first floor. The second floor holds all the private rooms including two bedrooms, a bathroom and an office.
