Designer David Trubridge’s installation ‘The Elements’ to be featured at 2013 Wanted Design NYC
New Zealand based designer David Trubridge has created an installation called ‘The Elements’ to launch his new book ‘So Far’. His shows are anticipated sculptural installations and this year he takes this to a new level in a collaboration with TSAR carpets. The lighting component utilizes Swarovski Elements and the installation in itself is a very contemplative space, encouraging reflection on the vital role of the elements. The basis of all life on Earth is the eternal cycle of water: evaporated from the oceans by the fire of the Sun, it is carried in the air to the mountains where it falls on the Earth as rain, running back to the ocean in rivers. The installation will be featured at Wanted Design, an international design event in New York city from 17th May – 20th May 2013.
