Swedish textile designer, Liv Gisslandi created these amazing textile designs which have been mostly inspired from her travels to Taiwan in 2011 as part of an exchnage program while studying at the Swedish School of Textiles. She gathered most of the design elements from the hustle buslte of everyday life in Taiwan…..the congested narrow roads with thousands of scooters, temples, street markets, street dogs, the electric poles with the wires tangled into each other running down through streets and the high rise buildings with neon signages. Gisslandi documented all her experiences on her videocamera which was later used as a reference to develop them into a collection of fabrics with vivid patterns and bright colors. “It was an amazing experience and Taiwan definitely inspired me to create some original which I hope can be used by people to add elements of Taiwan in their homes.”
