Stolarnia club and restaurant by Wamhouse
In January 2013, we featured the Ubojnia Design (second part of the ‘XII’ collection) by Polish design studio Wamhouse. The ‘XII’ collection consists of twelve thematic interior designs that try to combine art and design to create some highly original sets of furniture and fittings. Today I would like to share the fantastic design of the Stolarnia club and restaurant, which is the sixth part of the Ubojnia & XII collection.
While wood is the predominant material used for the Stolarnia club and restaurant, the interiors is inspired by the gloomy cartoons of artists like Tim Burton. The ambiance reminds one of a cold evening on a hillside landscape in a remotely located town. Suspended bulbs have been used above tables which are symbolic of snowdrops or wisps throughout a deserted area. I think the entire concept is very creatively presented…. Bravo!!
