‘Snow Pallet’ is an art installation by Japanese artist Toshihiko Shibuya which will be exhibited at the Sapporo Art Park in Japan until 7th March, 2012. Toshihiko’s idea is original & it brings in a throw of colours during the white winters of Hokkaido island in Japan. The artist has made use of several iron disks which have been painted in different colours. These disks are arranged at random distances from one another at different heights from the ground level giving it much depth and also the hues are mirrored off the snow at various intensities. “The work is in a constant dialogue with nature as the amount of snowfall, ice, and lighting conditions effect the quality of the reflection.”
