While pregnancy can be stressful and overwhelming, a pregnant woman also feels strong emotions of love and happiness. Argentinian photographer Sophie Starzenski decided to hide these emotions behind her canon camera and expressed her sense of curiosity in a very creative way through a photo series entitled “40 Weeks and a Mirror”. Starzenski documented the beautiful progression of her tummy through a series of 10 simple photographs taken in front of a mirror over a period of 40 weeks. The final photograph has been captured with her bundle of joy, her new born child nicknamed Pyokko.
