Designed by Dutch designer Nina Tekampe of Nintek Design, ‘Squambo’ is a multi-purpose shelving unit that comes in two different sections of different size. The first section has one large and two smaller cubes with the total size of two smaller cubes equal to that of the bigger one. All cubes are open on front and backside. The second section consists of two large and one small cube, the small cube is half as wide as the large one. The cubes can be arranged in different combinations to create a seat, room divider, and audio/video or wall shelf. Since the Squambo shelving system uses only two different standard panels, the required tools and production cost/time are very minimal and manageable.
