Created by Danish designer Pernille Snedker Hansen, ‘Marbelous Wood’ is created by using an old marbling technique which transforms the dull & boring wooden flooring into some supernatural & vibrant design element. Marbelous Wood challenges the way we use wood in our built environment, where function and aesthetics work together in new ways. The applied decoration engages in a dialogue with the natural growth rings of the underlying wood.
