American artist James Grashow’s ‘House Plant’ series is an unique collection of sculptures. Each of the sculptural works portray a carved cityscape built upon the stems and leaves of plant-filled vase. The man-made structures are incorporated into the bouquets in such a way that appreciates the shape of both the bloom and building. The miniature cityscape either rises from the center of a flower or rests upon the leaves of a hand-sculpted greenery. James has created a bouquet dedicated to big cities in US like Atlanta, New York etc. and each bouquet represents the architectural motifs unique to the featured city while also serving as a reminder of the balance between man and nature.
