This amazing green wall concept is the creation of designers at the Bali Ecological Center with the help of local craftsmen in Bali. The wall consists of hexagonal blocks made from terracotta and arranged in a random fashion to build the modular vertical garden. The wall not only provides a great green space, but also allows daylight and ventilation into the interiors.
The green wall can help cool the sides of a building from direct sunlight by providing an extra layer of insulation, thus reducing indoor cooling needs, and the plants improve air quality and carbon sequestration. The planters help reduce noise from traffic and other urban nuisances from building interiors, and the plants help to regulate the temperature and humidity.
