A group of 12 Japanese creators called ‘The Voice in Itinere 2010’ finished their official debut to the Fuori Salone 2010 in Milan with a great success. In the midst of the large attention, at the Fonderia Napoleonoca, a historic cast iron factory building in the Isora Area of Milan.

The group was formed with unprecedented varieties of art works such as traditional materials from Japan and conceptual designs, which caught fresh attention of local and international media, as well as countless stop-bys during the historic international exhibition. Thanks to their non-commercialism, their collection articulated details of their production process. As a result, freshness and uniqueness are certainly visible, and their one-of-a-kind expressions are created by unique contrast on materials: traditional ones such as bamboo, wood, iron and ceramic, and contemporary ideas such as LED lights, 3D tiles, natural wood mosaic, recycled parts, etc.
