Ciel de Paris by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance

Situated on the 56th floor of the Montparnasse Tower, the Ciel de Paris restaurant is designed by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance. The 400 sq. meter restaurant has a soft and profound amber bubble of light. The sleek modern interior design is characterized by its furniture pieces which sit organically in fluid surroundings. The ceiling is adorned with circular lighting to represent a cluster of planets.  From the bay windows to the central bar, depending on the aura of the mirrors, the skilled composition of the sombre reflections strengthens and transforms perspectives. The view becomes space & space becomes the view. During night time, the city lights reflect on the curves & materials inside creating an interesting play of light & shadow. The space which was primarily designed as a tourist hotspot, could also serve as an exciting socializing space for the Parisians.
