The Truck Art Project\u00a0<\/strong>is an innovative cultural\u00a0project\u00a0of artistic patronage driven\u00a0by\u00a0businessman and collector Jaime Colsa. <\/strong>Created in collaboration with\u00a0<\/strong>Ink and Movement<\/a>, Klasse<\/a>\u00a0and Palibex<\/a>, t<\/b>he project was initiated with the\u00a0sole intention of\u00a0composing a particular collection of Spanish contemporary art, whereby the transportation trucks that work with Colsa’s company are used as a canvas to create a series of monumental media work.<\/p>\n At present,\u00a0the project showcases works of seven well known contemporary artists including\u00a0Javier Arce,\u00a0Suso33,\u00a0Okuda San Miguel,\u00a0Abraham Lacalle,\u00a0Marina Vargas,\u00a0Javier Calleja\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Daniel Mu\u00f1oz<\/strong>.\u00a0While, the collaborators think that this is a good starting point, the ambitious project aims to create a network of art in motion through 100 artistic proposals including other\u00a0multidisciplinary such as\u00a0 photography, music and\u00a0film.<\/p>\n Some of the trucks are even used to exhibit works of art inside, turning them into\u00a0itinerant galleries opening doors to the public and bringing contemporary art to people in remote places of Spain with no access to cultural activities.<\/p>\n The result is a collection of mobile art that challenges the artist to deal with scales and budgets that have never been\u00a0attempted before and in the process\u00a0transform people into involuntary and fleeting viewers of the artwork.<\/p>\n Truck art by Okuda San Miguel<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Truck art by Javier Arce<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Truck art by Suso33<\/a><\/strong> <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Truck art by Daniel Mu\u00f1oz<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Truck art by\u00a0Javier Calleja<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Truck art by\u00a0Abraham Lacalle<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Truck art by\u00a0Marina Vargas<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
