\u00a0<\/strong>latest range of herbs and spices called Schwarz Flavour Shots.\u00a0What does flavour look like? How does it sound? These are the questions that inspired the herb and spice experts Schwartz to create what they describe as a ‘Sonic Flavourscape’.<\/p>\nGunny sacks filled with tons of\u00a0black peppercorns, cardamom, turmeric, paprika, cumin seeds, ginger, chilli and coriander were arranged together and they were all timed to\u00a0explode in perfect sync with a bespoke musical composition. Each explosion represents an individual piano note or chord, which when filmed at high speed, creates a surreal three dimensional sound scape.<\/p>\n
The project was a result of a creative collaboration between DJ\/Producer MJ Cole who \u00a0translated the sensation of taste into a musical composition, which was later transformed into a colourful visual delight by film maker Chris Cairns and pyrotechnic designers Machine Shop.<\/p>\n
