Located in the heart of\u00a0London\u00a0in the design triangle of Shoreditch,\u00a0Barrio East<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>is the latest addition to Barrio North and Barrio Central. Designed\u00a0by David Knight and Dominic Taylor of\u00a0dtwo design<\/strong>, the restaurant’s Latin American theme is reflected in the colourful interiors.<\/p>\n

The entire space has been divided into three specialized environments, each catering to a different mood. The Timber Yard has an informal setting\u00a0constructed from a mix of reclaimed timber and exposed bricks walls, with the upholstery from Mexican tablecloths. The area appears like a\u00a0collage of colourful wooden boards that become furniture and walls.<\/p>\n

The Barrio Uptown features alternating coloured lamps made from Gorilla tubs \u00a0suspended above the bar. The\u00a0flooring is made up of herringbone tiles in an array of shades, matching the patterns on the bar, while red coloured tin tiles from American Tin Ceilings constitute the\u00a0patterned ceiling above the bar area.<\/p>\n

The third space features a cocktail bar, wine cellar and dance-floor.\u00a0A\u00a0caravan made by Chordal Green\u00a0has been fitted within Barrio East as a booth, and papered with bright wallpaper, complete with yellow stripes and exotic animals from House of Hackney.\u00a0The bespoke vinyl wall covering by Glyphics is printed with sugar skulls, fitting in perfectly with the eclectic Latin-American theme.\u00a0Additional features of Barrio East include pineapple-shaped glass lights, customised \u2018ceiling\u2019 paper, distressed tables, hexagonal tiles and a \u2018copper-ivy\u2019 wall, which showcases a stunning collection of copper piping that appears to grow up the wall like a plant.<\/p>\n

Barrio East with its unique hideaways and hangouts in every corner, is perfect for every occasion, be it a casual dinner date, reunion, after-work drink or an after-hour party. Shake it up lightly and enjoy the explosion of\u00a0colour, music and signature cocktails at Barrio East.<\/p>\n
