While the idea of minimalistic living appeals to most young people today, it’s sometimes just too difficult to implement it in our daily lives. Switzerland based creative designer Till Konneker opted in for a similar lifestyle when he moved into an \u00a0empty apartment studio. Instead of going to the IKEA store, the designer decided to create a storage solution for his clothes, vinyls, books and television. Konneker sketched down his idea on paper which was later transformed into the ‘Living Cube’ by\u00a0Remo Zimmerli. The hand built wooden structure is smartly designed to hold a wardrobe, a hidden storage space, a book shelf, \u00a0a media centre and even a guest bed on the top of the cube.<\/p>\n

“A house is not really flexible but we can re-think the space and furniture inside. I believe useful furniture must be adapted to the needs of the user.” – says Till Konneker<\/p>\n

Even though this ‘Living Cube’ isn’t available in the markets, Konneker is very open to the idea of re-thinking and creating a customized one to meet your needs.<\/p>\n
