Designed by Golucci International Design, the\u00a0 interior design of the fifth branch of Japanese restaurant Yakiniku Master located in Shanghai is based on the ‘contemporary old Shanghai style’. The 350 square metre space is designed with the aim to create a room for people to forget about their busy robotic life and socialize with friends over a mouth watering Japanese BBQ meal.<\/p>\n

Similar to its previous restaurants, the entrance has a rustic design featuring a contemporary host desk with unfinished, rusty walls and ceilings along with the signature use of charcoal wall demonstrating the image and characteristics of yakiniku (Japanese BBQ).\u00a0 The dining room is divided into two areas with different styles,\u00a0 one is the French leased area Sinan Mansions old Western-style shutters, while the other side is Shikumen Chinese red brick wall.<\/p>\n

Both the areas have been designed with an interesting combination of granite topped tables and wooden chairs. some of the other interesting elements to check out is the roughed out grey flooring, unusual bar design with a combination of concrete & wood\u00a0 and an interesting arrangement of vintage accents like a piano, suitcase ,table fan, typewriter etc.\u00a0 The overall design integrates simplicity and complexity, traditional and contemporary methods to showcase a rich and colorful landscape.<\/p>\n
