Tetris, the ‘Greatest Game’ of all times was designed by a Russian game designer Alexey Pajitnov. But, have you ever imagined how would this simple tile-matching puzzle video game appear in real life? That’s exactly what Swedish designer Michael Johannson visualizes through his amazing art installations ‘Real Life Tetris‘. The various art installations have been created by putting together discarded household items like television sets, sofa cushions, drawers, suitcases, ping pong tables, bath tubs, washing machines and even a scrapped car body. It’s amazing how Johannson works with three dimensional objects and transforms them into a two dimensional sculptural element. Johannson says, “I take used objects because they kind of lived a life before I find them. By combining them I almost create a fake history that never happened.”
