The PAS House<\/a> is a brilliant private residence concept designed for the skaters, by the skaters. This 2200 sq. feet single family residence unit is designed\u00a0by skateboarder & designer\u00a0Gil Le Bon Delapointe and architect Francois Perrin for \u00a0the\u00a0former World champion, pro skateboarder and founder & owner of Sole Technology, Pierre Andre\u00a0Senizergues.<\/p>\n

The concept is basically a ribbon like structure consisting of a continuous surface which can be skated on from the outside to the inside. The house is divided into three different \u00a0areas. The first one includes the living room, dining area and kitchen, the second one includes a bedroom and bathroom and the third one is a skateboard practice area. The ground, walls and ceiling are unified forming a tube like enclosure of 10 feet radius which provides a continuous surface for skating. Furniture pieces including sofa, closets and drawers can be\u00a0accommodated\u00a0in the curvature.<\/p>\n

The PAS house also\u00a0represents a\u00a0ground-breaking\u00a0in the construction of a new geometrical space leaving the traditional Euclidian space represented by the square angle, the floor, wall and ceiling for a continuous surface that creates a new experience of the domestic space, more fluid and dynamic at the image of our 21st century lifestyle.\u00a0Besides creating a skateboarders paradise, Senizergues has also taken into consideration sustainable design strategies to create a natural ventilation system and maximise the usage of daylight into the interiors.<\/p>\n

A model of the project and a full scale prototype of the living area was recently presented in Paris for the exhibition Public Domaine\/Skateboard Culture at la Gaite Lyrique, a new museum directed by the City of Paris.<\/p>\n
