Hungarian designer Laszlo Tompa recently showcased his unique wooden lamp collection called Flower Lamps at the Tent London<\/a> at the 10th edition of the London Design Festival<\/a>. “After finishing my former work \u201ccube illusion\u201d I decided to design hanging lamps. Similarly to the box these lamps consist of wood turned elements. The basic lamp is a hexagonal and pentagonal pyramids that is covered with different no space matching geometric ornaments. The lamp is not transparent, it\u2019s lighting locally, downward.”<\/em> – says Laszlo Tompa. Tompa<\/p>\n Laszlo Tompa is a ceramist and tile designer. Tompa graduated from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest, Hungary<\/span><\/span> and has won several awards for his organic wooden designs. He was selected as one of the finalist at the IFDA Asahikawa – International Furniture Design Competition<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
