The Gourmet Tea is a cute pop out store in the city of Sao Paulo designed by Architect Alan Chu. The store covers an area of 2.5 m x 4.5 m with an overall height of this store is 6 m.The shop has a bunch of surprises in the form of a tea store offering over a hundred differentvarietes of tea hidden behind a colorful wall. The shop is made of a plywood box that opens up by popping out from the wall panels. A hinged flap flips to show the shop sign, the counter is wheeled out, and a door opens to reveal cupboards and shelves of tea merchandise. The architect has also accommodated a small bistro behind the counter. The architect has made full use of the nook & corners by providing a stock closet which can be accessed through a ladder. So, the next time you read ‘The Gourmet Tea’ while passing by, make sure you try one of the flavors.
