Miniature tree sculpture from a McDonalds paper bag -

Japanese artist Yuken Teruya is well known for his unique art of creating organic miniature sculptures from disposed objects like toilet paper tube & paper bags. The young & talented artist recently created a miniature tree sculpture called ‘Notice Forest: What Victory Tastes Like/ London’ from a McDonalds Olympic takeaway bag.

Teruya carefully cuts out shapes of leaves and branches from the paper bag which results in a miniature tree sculpture inside the bag. Teruya mostly draws inspirations from the trees in his neighborhood or from his travels.  The McDonalds takeaway sculpture will be on display at David B. Smith’s new group show in Denver, Colorado until 1st September 2012.
