Latvian design studio mammalampa has created an unique collection of lamps called The Bride. As the name suggests, the design has been inspired by bridal style. Similar to a bride’s personalized style, each and every lampshade has an unique personality characterized by an unique pattern in which it was woven.
According to the designers, “The Bride’s “dress” is created from paper presenting this traditional lamp material in an unusual solution. As light shines through the paper, you will find yourself infused by an aura of airy lightness ; almost as if the lamp were not subject to the law of gravity. This most definitely a lamp with a gender – the atmosphere created by the Bride is truly feminine.”
Entirely handmade, the collection includes two different versions: ceiling lamps in two different sizes and a kindred floor lamp and table lamp.
