Krylon Clear Choice Art Scholarship
Description: Krylon Products Group is proud to invest in the future of art by awarding scholarships to help promising art students with rising tuition costs. Krylon Products Group Clear Choice Art Scholarships are available to high school seniors (graduating before July 1, 2012) and college freshmen and sophomore students in the U.S. and Canada. Students must be enrolled or accepted and seeking a degree at a U.S. or Canadian university, college or art school as a declared major in a visual arts program such as painting, drawing, sketching (excluding graphic design, fashion design, interior design, film, music or the performing arts). Canadian students must be attending a designated educational institution while enrolled or accepted into a qualifying educational program. Employees of The Sherwin-Williams Company and related companies, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. Scholarship checks are sent directly to the university, college or art school, where the student will study, to be used for qualifying tuition expenses (tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment) required by the educational institution. Distribution will not be made directly to scholarship recipients.
The scholarship submission consists of a completed application form (attached), portfolio on CD, portfolio images printout, artist’s statement, letter of recommendation and transcript(s).
