Interactive multicoloured LED Lamp by Taras Sgibnev
What looks like a science experiment apparatus or some kind of a hospital machine, is actually one of the latest lighting projects by Russian designer Taras Sgibnev. We simply loved Taras’s out of the box imagination when we first discovered Taras’s ‘Lego Stories‘ on Behance. This time he has once again surprised us with his mind blowing experimental lighting project called Colour Injector.
So what exactly is the Colour Injector? Colour injector is an Arduino based interactive multi-coloured lamp. Arduino is a single-board micro-controller designed to make the process of using electronics in multidisciplinary projects more accessible. The colours comprise of a RGB (Red, Green & Blue) palette. The lamp is installed with LED lights which are controlled by an innovative control system which consists of three syringes with real inks. The syringes allow people to change the colour of the lamp light in unconventional way by providing a simple and intuitive interface. Awesome!! Isn’t it?
