The 2010 film Inception connected audiences to a whole new world where Dom Cobb played by Leonardo DiCarpio possessed the ability to enter people’s dreams and steal their secrets from their subconscious. Not only did the film inspire lots of young filmmakers, but it also excited creatives from other disciplines.
The “Wave City” is one of the Inception inspired coffee table designed by Cyprus based designer Stelios Mousarris. The curved table features a cityscape which appears to be lifted upside down. The table is made of wood and steel and utilizes 3D printing technology.
The table displays a cluster of carefully carved skyscrapers along a wooden sheet that curves upwards to form the table top. A series of buildings appears to be hanging upside down complimenting the buildings on the lower street.
