Description:  The Art Institutes is giving an opportunity to all high school students to showcase their creativity in fashion design and operations with it’s ‘Passion for Fashion Scholarship’. You can enter into any one of the categories:

Fashion Design: Put your fashion design skills to work and create three sketches of an evening wear garment. If selected as a local winner, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a local seamstress to have your sketches produced into an actual garment for submittal to the national competition.

Fashion Marketing & Merchandising and Retail Management: You know the hottest trends in fashion and want to pursue a career in fashion retail management or marketing. Predict the next fashion trend and create a vision board to demonstrate your prediction.

Prize/ Scholarship Amount:

The grand prize winner will receive half of the tuition fees scholarship to study at one of the programs at the Art Institute and also have an opportunity to visit New York city. The institute is also providing more than $ 1,00,000 scholarships to local winners.

Eligibility:

• High school seniors in the U.S., Canada (with the exception of Quebec), and Puerto Rico who will graduate in 2013.
• You must be at least 16 to participate.
