Del Popolo: A Mobile Pizzeria at Your Doorstep

Ever imagined having your hot pizzas delivered from a shipping container? If not, then you have to try some fresh pizzas made by Del Popolo. Del Popolo is a mobile pizzeria created by owner Jon Darsky with the help of four designers. A fully functional kitchen with a traditional Italian-made wood fire oven has been installed in the interiors of a twenty-foot transatlantic shipping.  The large oven which can reach temperatures of 800 degrees takes up nearly 1/3 of the space inside the container kitchen.  One side of the container is glazed with full length glass doors. So the next time you place a call for pizza delivery, you’d probably want to check before…a pizzeria might just be waiting at your doorstep!

Information on where to find the pizzeria next can be found via del popolo’s twitter.
