Clouds is a textile project designed by French designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for the Danish textile manufacturing company Kvadrat. The project is basically a fabric based modular room-dividing system. The basic idea was to create an easy to install room divider with minimal or no use of tools. The designers developed a fixing system of special elastic bands to specifically meet this goal. The system is not only easy to install, but also enables the user with ‘N’ number of configurations. Clouds offers a variety of options as the assembled elements can be hung on walls or from the ceiling to divide the environment.
