Description: The Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in US is providing scholarships and financial assistance worth $350,000 to all the students studying at the institute. The scholarships aim at assisting students with buying their art supplies & materials, travel expenses and tution fees. This year Macy’s Design Scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding and deserving student pursuing study in costume, fashion, stage design, architecture, 2D or 3D design. Qualified candidates will posses a GPA of 80 or above, a complete application (an application that is incomplete will not be considered), and a recommendation from a cluster teacher and an academic teacher, as well as submit a portfolio reflecting interest in design, and provide a written response to a question about career goals, personal goals, and reason for applying for the Macy’s Design Scholarship.
